40 targets were set in pairs throughout the woods (20 firing points). Many took some finding which is part of the fun and none were set on a flat boring field. There was no compulsory shooting positions just some targets couldn't be seen clearly unless you were prepared to move around and adapt your shooting stance. In this case two targets were set in the bed of a stream down amongst the undergrowth at approx 35 and 40 yards range. Rivington lead - other clubs can only follow!
EVERY PENNY raised from the shooting events will benefit the charity.
For 2008 the event will be held on 10th Aug at our new Turton (north Bolton) outdoor range. |
