Code of Conduct.

Members may be encouraged to help with the promotion and protection of our sport through B.A.S.C. events, public awareness days (i.e. Broughton Hall Country Fair), coaching scouts etc.
If you cannot promise commitment to the club, its events and help promote our sport then this club may not be suitable to you.
If you cannot attend on a regular basis why not remain a visitor who is allowed 4 visits per year?
The club accepts membership of people of any age or sex but we do ask that any Junior members/visitors be accompanied at all times by a guardian who should not be shooting at the same time.
While we do recommend membership of one of the national shooting organisations (B.A.S.C. or B.A.S.A.) to protect the future of our sport it is not required for insurance coverage as all members/visitors are covered by the clubs own insurance at every club event.

It is a condition of entry into this club that the members must help with the running of THEIR club (i.e. painting targets, clearing the shot lead, firewood cutting, repairs etc.)

If YOU don’t do it – who should?

Conditions of Use.

We accept ALL standards of marksmanship and ALL levels of shooting equipment but

DANGEROUS OR UNSAFE BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

We do not permit the use of firearms, nor the use of air guns over 0.22 calibre as our insurance excludes them.
Only Air Rifles  producing less than 12FPE muzzle energy and Pistols producing less than 6 FPE may be used on club ranges.

We are an airgun club NOT a firearms club. The shooting of any firearm would be a criminal offence and would invalidate our insurance and put the future of the club at risk.

Club ‘Officials'.

The club is steered by a committee of 7 (names and photos displayed) nominated and elected at the A.G.M. who respond to the ideas, suggestions (via ‘Suggestions Box’) and input from the club members themselves.
Membership Secretary: Amanda Butler.

Club Treasurer: Steve Draper.

Pistol Secretary: Chris Butler

Co-op (pellet sales etc.): Jim Edge.

Safety Officer: EVERYONE!

Names and photos of the clubs committee are displayed on the notice boards.
